What is the proper use of a
proxy or absentee ballot?
A.
Proxy or absentee ballots are generally available
for use by owners who may not be able to attend the annual meeting. They
may be used for Quorum, or, in some cases, instructed or uninstructed
for casting votes. The specific restrictions and uses are dictated by
the Association documents and must be followed accordingly.

Do you work with our legal counsel?
A.
Yes. At AMI we are familiar with the intricacies of the law with regards to
election. We also understand that the interpretations of these
laws varies between law firms, and sometimes even between
attorneys at the same firm. We will work with your legal counsel to
ensure that the election is conducted with the understanding that the
results will ultimately be defended by them in the event of a challenge
to the Association.

What is the benefit of using your PO Box for
receipt of our proxies, or your registration administration services?
A.
Some Associations use our additional services to keep all of the
election processes and materials in the hands of a completely
independent third party company to avoid any concerns of election fraud.
When we are in receipt of the proxies and maintain possession of them
from the beginning there is no room for concern. Our registration
administration assures proper identification of owners who have
submitted proxies and avoids the potential for duplication.
Q. We recently conducted our election and annual meeting and just found out about your service. Can we book you now for our election next year to get it on the calendar?
A. Yes. We book elections a year and more in advance.
